These terms (“Gift Card Terms”) apply to all Marketecs Engine gift cards, whether physical or digital (“Gift Cards”), issued by Strategic Office Support LLC d/b/a Marketecs / Marketecs Engine (“Marketecs”, “we”, “us”).

By accepting, holding, or using a Gift Card, you agree to these Gift Card Terms, as well as our website Terms of Service, Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimers available at www.marketecs.com (collectively, the “Site Terms”). If there is a conflict between the Gift Card Terms and the Site Terms, the Gift Card Terms will control for Gift Card use.

1. Purpose and Eligible Use

Gift Cards are redeemable only for eligible Marketecs Engine gear and swag (merchandise) made available by Marketecs, typically through our online store or a link we provide.

Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, Gift Cards cannot be used for:

Marketecs Engine subscriptions or SaaS fees

Services, consulting, or custom work

Payment of invoices, retainers, or outstanding balances

We reserve the right to change which products are eligible for Gift Card redemption at any time.

2. No Cash Value / No Refunds

Gift Cards have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash or cash equivalents, except where required by law.

No cash back, change, or credit will be given for any unused portion of a Gift Card.

Gift Cards are non-refundable, whether purchased or given as a gift, and cannot be exchanged for other cards, credits, or discounts.

3. Expiration

Each Gift Card is valid for six (6) months from the date of issuance or activation, as indicated by Marketecs.

After the expiration date, any unused balance is forfeited and the Gift Card will no longer be accepted.

It is the recipient’s responsibility to redeem the Gift Card before expiration.

4. Balance, Redemption, and Application

A Gift Card may be redeemed by entering the code at checkout or following the instructions provided by Marketecs.

Unless we state otherwise, the Gift Card value may be applied toward eligible merchandise and associated taxes and shipping up to the available balance.

If the purchase total exceeds the Gift Card value, the recipient must pay the difference with another accepted payment method.

We may set limits on the number of Gift Cards that can be used per order or combined with other discounts or promotions.

5. Transfer, Resale, and Misuse

Gift Cards are intended as a gift or reward for clients and team members. They may be given to another individual, but may not be resold or exchanged for value.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or deactivate any Gift Card that we believe has been:

Obtained fraudulently or illegally,

Altered, tampered with, or duplicated, or

Used in a manner that violates these Gift Card Terms or the Site Terms.

In such cases, we have no obligation to refund or replace the Gift Card.

6. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Cards

Marketecs is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or misused Gift Cards, or for unauthorized use of a Gift Card.

Replacement of a Gift Card (if any) is at Marketecs’ sole discretion, and may require proof of original issuance and identity.

7. No Guarantee of Products or Availability

Gift Cards do not guarantee the availability of any particular product, style, size, or design.

Product offerings, pricing, and availability of gear and swag may change at any time without notice.

8. Taxes and Reporting

Where applicable, the recipient is responsible for any taxes or obligations arising from receiving or using a Gift Card, including potential employee benefits or income reporting obligations. Marketecs does not provide tax advice; recipients should consult their own tax professional.

9. Modification and Termination

Marketecs may modify these Gift Card Terms at any time. Updated terms will apply to future use of Gift Cards not yet redeemed.

Marketecs may discontinue its Gift Card program at any time; in that case, we will honor valid, unexpired Gift Cards for a reasonable period or as required by law.

10. Governing Law

These Gift Card Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
